Byron Bay was our next destination and after stopping at Lismore and checking out Rosalee’s old haunts we headed onto the iconic town. This is one place where you would say that it has grown too popular for its own good. Went and had a look at the lighthouse and stood at the most Easterly point in Australia. Walked around town and spent some time in thelibrary avoiding the heat of the day. We camped at Red Devils football ground which at $15 per adult was the cheapest place in town.
