Gulgong

Rain had disappeared and we headed towards Gulgong via Sofala. This one of the oldest gold towns in Australia and the town is pretty quite and interesting to walk around. Lunch occurred at Mudgee and this a town that has grown a lot in the last few years, the park was fun for the kids and we had a nice walk around the town.

Finally we arrived at Gulgong which claim to fame is Henry Lawson and used to be on the old $10 note, again another nice walk around this old town. We are staying at the showground which is quite nice.
