Bathurst

With grey skies overhead at Young we packed up as early as we could. Last night’s rain of 10-20 mm’s was enough for us. The drive towards Blayney we were threatened with more rain. At Blayney we got out of the car and it was so cold around 11 degrees, it was so cold that the rain that fell was turning into light hail. The kids enjoyed the playground and we reheated the lunch on the free BBQ.

Onto Bathurst and it was walk down memory lane I took the family to my old digs at the Kelso Caravan park and then onto Uni and then up the mount for a great lap around the race track.

We stayed the night at Bathurst showgrounds and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees overnight. A great summer, better get to Gold Coast pronto.
