Perth- Day 9

This was our last full day in Perth and after another session of school, we hit Kings Park in the city for a picnic. Firstly, we headed to the main memorial section with views over Perth and then we headed to the kids playground area for our picnic. We chilled out here for a good hour or so before a bus load of school kids spoilt the fun for the kids. Elijah said that’s what school kids do, O have done it before.

We then set off for Belmont and the volcano park, but before getting there we pulled into a shopping centre that had four op shops right next door to each other. Rosalee was excited, but after looking in each one she only bought a leather belt, I had bought a book on Les Darcy, Elijah a book (How to train your dragon), Lilianna a dress, Amelia had a clock and Marcella a amall purse.

Just up the road was the Volcano, but when we got out it had a big padlock and a sign saying closed for maintenance! There was tears all round as we headed back to camp to do our last bit of supply shopping before setting off tomorrow.

The Volcano park... turned out to be our holy grail.
