Perth- Day 6

On our second day in Perth we noticed that there was Jamie Oliver Italian restaurant in William St. I contacted the restaurant in a faint hope that they may have an opening for a booking for Sunday lunch, which they did. It was a 11.15 am booking and it covered a two hour period.

Rosalee thought it may be a bit much as we had already eaten out at a pretty good restaurant on Friday for kids day, but she agreed that it was a pretty special and fun thing to do.

The meals were very, very nice and we thought that we could understand why foodies always appeared smug. Rosalee had a mushroom pasta dish and I had an old family favourite, which was very nice. The kids meals were fun and healthy with many photos taken of these, and the desserts of vanilla ice cream, tiramisu and chocolate brownie were savoured over with great delight by all.

After this very yummy lunch we headed to the WA Art Gallery, Museum and State Library, which was all a bit of fun after our lovely lunch.

Pretty soon it was 4:30pm and we thought we better head back to camp for dinner.
