Geraldton

It was like seeing the skyline of Sydney (well not really), but that is how excited we were to see the big city of Geraldton as we drove into town.

We parked the van at Belair gardens hit the shops for some food and Rosalee had a browse. The kids saw Barney the Dinosaur and had a photo taken with it.

The Travelling T’s were here and it was our turn to stalk them. The kids had a great catch up after having one night absence.

The memorial to Sydney II was very impressive with 645 seagulls incorporated into the dome and the sad women looking out to sea. It is amazing to think that they set it up before the remains of Sydney was found and she is looking in the right direction out to Steep Point.

On Saturday we went to Geraldton church which has quite a mix of young and old and multicultural group.

The kids spent the day at the jumping pillow at the park having a great time.
