Ningaloo and Cape Range

Out of the red dust of the Pilbara we arrived in the Gascoyne region and in particular the coral coast. One night was spent at Exmouth getting essential supplies including fishing gear and bait. The next five nights were spent at Cape Range one night at Karajong the other 4 at Osprey Bay.

We snorkelled, snorkelled, fished, snorkelled, fished, snorkelled, fished, snorkelled…etc.

We went to all the spots Turquoise Bay, Oyster Stacks, Yardie Creek, swam with manta rays, reef sharks, octopus, turtles, big fish, little fish, blue fish, yellow fish.

Saw all types of coral purple, green, yellow, orange.

Caught a couple of fish of which Lilianna’s was the biggest.

Spent some great hours catching up with our friends the Travelling T’s, fishing at night whilst the kids played spotlight, having dinner together and just chatting about the importance of life, universe and our younger days.

It was like being in a magazine picture, absolutely beautiful.
