Tom Price

Today we left Karijini and headed towards Tom Price, the drive was uneventful and we arrived at Tom Price by around 10:30. After setting up camp at the only caravan park in town we headed into the Visitors Centre to book into a tour of the mine tomorrow, we also bought a present for our godson Hunter and mailed it off to Dubbo.

After this I decided that it would be good to drive up Mount Nameless which is a bit of white settler logic that the local Aborigines had a name for this mountain (Jurndamurneh), but they obviously didn’t care about that so they called it Mount Nameless. We still have a long way to go Australia! Anyway at the top of Jurndamureh which is 1129 metres above sea level and the highest mountain in all of WA.

Rosie was not that impressed about going up the mountain, but we made it up and down with no worries, it was all good fun!
