Having lunch with nanna, before our Ice Cream treat.
Today we headed into Darwin to check out the city itself. The first stop on the agenda was to go and check out the Red Cross Op shop in town that was supposed to be fantastic. Nanna and Rosalee had a good time going through this shop whilst Elijah went to the second hand book store next door and picked up the “Key to Rondo” which he was very happy about (another birthday present ticked off his list). As we walked around town there was a girl dressed up in a wedding dress and the kids happily posed with this lady. We headed for the waterfront district and had lunch in the park and then Nanna shouted us ice creams at a shop named Trampoline. The ice creams were oh so yummy!
The kids were excited to see the wave park, but I said we would come back another time for this, so on we headed to the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery and checked out the Cyclone Tracey exhibition and a few other things.
