Kakadu- East Alligator River

It's now in the water.

I am glad I am up here Dad!

Croc resurfaces.

Croc resurfaces.

I looked at Marcella and Elijah and said we are going to find a crocodile even if it kills one of you!
Well now that we were away from Rosalee, we headed to Cahill’s Crossing on East Aligator River and low and behold sitting on the bank of the river was a crocodile. A few blokes in a tinnie went by and the crocodile got up from the bank and moved into the water with it’s jaws snapping. We watched with amazement as we saw the croc go under twice and waited around 20 minutes for it to resurface. There was two blokes fishing on the crossing and we were waiting for the croc to surface near them, but it didn’t.

On our triumphant return we were able to proudly state that we had seen a croc without risking either of the children. A good outcome all round I say.
