With “And make sure you don’t leave your shoes out as the dingo’s will eat them up” ringing in my ears I knew we were in for an interesting night. The drive was long and we were waiting to see a camel or two, but despite hundreds of mounds of the brown stuff we saw no camels. On arrival at the resort we set up camp and then headed to do a small easy walk in to the bottom of the canyon, on our return we had a swim in the dirty resort pool. It was dirty so very dirty that Lilianna thought she saw some grandma’s teeth floating around in it, if nothing else it was cool. It made me wonder why you had to shower before getting in as you definitely had to shower on getting out.
We were invited to come see the “Roadies” (a couple of entertainers that you may have seen on Red Faces) at the bistro, the kids were all excited so we agreed. The kids had to get up and play some musical instruments such as hand clappers and then they dragged up the dad’s and finally the mothers were dragged up on stage to do a lice sing along. It was mad Australian fun, but the kids had a ball, especially as the Roadies organised free pink soft drink for the kids. Each of them also got a present to take home, it sure was a fun night.
