Renowned as the forgotted half of the Flinders Rangers, Mount Remarkable sits in between the Northern Flinders Ranges and the ocean. We headed to Aligator Gorge to check out what made Mount Remarkable remarkable and was it remarkable to us? Well it’s way more remarkable than this blog, but anyway back to the story. We hedaed down the steps on the 2 klm ring walk with the kids mightily concerned that it was going to be another boring walk, but after the step descent into the bottom of the gorge we had to walk, climb and jump (Marcella anyway) over oodles and oodles of rocks. The kids had a great time with Elijah and Lilianna leading the way, and Amelia looking after Marcells who was in turn looking after Baby Elijah a great day was had by all.

On the way home we called in to Wilmington to get fuel and bought the kids an ice cream, the store must have jumped when I bought the paddle pops caise when we opened them it was obvious that they had been melted and refozen and melted and refrozen. Ah country towns got to love it.
