Our travels had taken us to Adelaide and we were staying at a great council run caravan park out at Williamstown which is some 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD and only 10 minutes from Barossa Valley, but for $20 a night for all of us it was a bargain.

We spent three days visiting Adelaide, the first day we spent at the Zoo, the second we spent shopping in Rundle Mall, locating a Koorong store, doing Haighs chocolate tour, selecting fine foods for lunch from Adelaide’s Central Market, and finally picking up school work for Term 2. The final day in Adelaide was Anzac Day and we parked at the Botantical Gardens and walked through this to the South Australian Museum and then the Art Gallery, the kids and I enjoyed doing some water painting in the Art Gallery whilst Rosalee walked around, we then caught the tram and did the free circuit which was enough for the kids and us as well.

Adelaide is a fun and friendly city which is undergoing a substantial amount of building and revitalisation,
