We travelled up the road around 19 klms from Ballarat to Smythesdales Gardens a modest, but well equiped free camp spot. The kids are happy as there is flushing toilets, that seems to be high on their wish list these days! It’s amazing how they have changed their mind sets about what is important in life. I am sure once they get home they will think having two flushing toilets and showers that we are super rich.

Drove into Ballarat so Amelia could do her birthday shopping with the money she received from Nanna and Grandma, she ended up choosing two DS games The Simpsons and Sonic and Mario Olympic games, Elijah was particularly impressed by the Simpsons game.

Called into Bunnings to get a couple of additional water tanks for the coming desert driving in the next few weeks.

There are a lot of crows around the gardens where we are staying and they wake early and as the saing goes I wan’t to stone those crows!!!
