Four little wallabies!

As it was sunny on our return to Cradle Mountain we attempted to go down to the Dove Lake car park, however we were stopped at the ranger station as a large tree had fallen down over the road thus closing it to all traffic.

We instead decided to the enchanted walk from the ranger station around to Peppers Resort, Amelia and Marcella were very tired and diod not want to go for a walk so I played a game with them of pretending to be wallabies. As we played this game we saw several wallabies and a few wombats. Elijah and I were calling the brown water a coke river as it was all bubbly from the amount of rain. At the end of this walk we came across a mother and baby wombat that was fairly amiable to humans and we were able to get pretty close, however it was hard to bget a photo without the arm or leg of a Japanese tourist in the way. But it was a big high for all of us.

Finally, Elijah wanted to do the Pencil Pine walk and we saw some lovely water falls.
