On our final full day on Bruny Island we headed to Cape Bruny Island. We took the Coolangatta Rd up over the mountain and found a large number of Blackberries growing beside the road. I parked the car whilst Rosalee busied herself collecting a cup full of berries in no time. We all clambered back in the car, but not before we examined the decomposing body of a bennetts wallaby on the side of the road. Amelia thought it would be cool to take a bone, but we said NO!!

The drive was fun with many winding roads and scenic lookouts, we kept our eye on the ocean to see if we could see the Travelling T’s who were on a boat cruise of the South Isle. Once we arrived at the lighthouse we had lunch a delightful spread of arrowroot biscuits with peanut butter and off course blackberries. After this gastronomical feast we walked up to better inspect the lighthouse as the wind was invigorating and refreashing meaning cold we did not dally long but took our photos and returned to the car.
