One of the things that you learn about camping is that the longer you stay somewhere the longer it takes to pack up. After 11 days in Hobart, it seemed like it was our first day camping. Where does this thing live, etc… After school for the kids we packed up and headed out at around 1pm.

We got to Kettering at 1.45pm and with the ferry running late due to high demand as this day was a public holiday we luckily snuck on to the ferry without having to wait the mandatory 30 minutes. The ferry ride was fun, and we saw heaps of jelly fish some with blue rings and some with pink.

Once disembarked from the ferry it was a 35 minute drive to our camp site at Adventure Bay, on the way we saw another echidna walking on the road. The wildlife in Tassie is everywhere.

As the day was fast disappearing we set up camp with the annexe as we would be here for the next four days.
